As God weaves together the fabric of Village Bible Church, He brings together unique gifts. We are all different and yet are all very important to the full functioning of the body of Christ –the church. Individually we are disconnected parts but united we are a family that God can use to bring glory to Himself in a powerful way.

In addition, 1 Peter 4:10 tells us that "each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." God has not placed you into the VBC family to be an observer but rather to be a participant - to serve. He has given you gifts and purposes that are uniquely yours.
Why does God weave together a family having unique gifts and expect each of us to use our gifts? It's not because He can't complete His plans without our help! He doesn't need us but He created us to need both Him and one another. We are called to unite and serve together in the name of Christ. That's how God designed us to function. Then take some more time to turn to God in prayer and consider if and how you are utilizing the gifts He has given you to use here at VBC.
