Tonight, Laura spoke to around thirty people about her experiences smuggling Bibles into Communist Eastern Europe prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain. Her experiences were exciting and life changing but the emphasis of her talk was asking the question, "What is it about this book that makes people risk everything to receive it?" In Poland, most people have a Bible but they never read it. Her talk was designed to stimulate a desire in the Poles to find out what is in the Bible by reading it themselves. We handed out New Testaments to everyone there and many members of the church were there to meet and talk with the ones that were new visitors.

The church members here are making great efforts to reach out to the community through a variety of ways and form friendships with new people. They host a "Love My City" week, a week of English camp, Gospel Music week and many more opportunities to engage with their neighbors. This church is very small and the people work very hard but the work is vast. They desperately need others to come alongside of them to help spread the Good News of Jesus!
