Words can’t express the joy we found in getting to know the ABIDE young men and women. ABIDE stands for Amagara Bible Institute Discipleship and Evangelism. Seventeen radiant young men and women (post high school) have given up six months of their lives to learn about God’s Word and how to minister and return to lead in their communities. 

Coming from various backgrounds that include witch doctors and polygamous families, they are committed wholeheartedly to serving God with a fervor that I have never seen before. And you should hear them sing! (Forgive me if I can never worship standing still again! = ) We have had the privilege of going to several community schools with them to minister with songs, testimonies and sharing of scripture. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I feel like I’ve tasted heaven as our two cultures seemed to merge almost seamlessly in the common goal of worshiping and serving our Savior.
