    Christmas is good for the saved because...

    1.  God came down to earth to rescue us.

    2.  God becomes intimate with us.

    3.  We have become sons and daughters of God.

    Application:
       •  This Good News is trustworthy.
       •  This Good News is excellent and profitable.
       •  This Good Nes should cause us to devote ourselves to 
           doing what is good.
