The road begins with an unavoidable situation.
   ●  It is a crisis in our lives
   ●  It challenges our thinking
   ●  It compels us to make a change

The road often leads to a painful confrontation that forces us to...
   ●  Recognize God's handiwork
   ●  Remember specific sins
   ●  Relinquish control
   ●  Rely on mercy and grace
   ●  Respond in obedience

Then it turns to an awkward conversation.
   ●  It is caused by the signs of grace
   ●  It often brings sorrow to those we love
   ●  It causes us to want to make sacrifices to atone
       for our sins
   ●  But instead we have to wait on God's perfect
       solution
