Each year we have been amazed with the way our church pulls together to raise money for our missions trips! We have seen the Lord allow the profits from this sale to increase each year. In previous years, we've brought in $22,500 in two days! Don't miss out on being a part, by donating to the sale, volunteering to help, or attending the sale.
Three Ways to Help
1. Get the Word Out
Help us spread the word by putting up a Garage Sale Sign in your yard! If you don't have one left over from last year, grab one in the foyer of your campus. You can also pass out Missions Garage Sale postcards to your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and all those people you know who love a great garage sale! Remember to share the URL for this event on Social Media as well. (www.villagebible.org/garagesale)
2. Volunteer to Organize and Maintain the Sale
We'll need tons of volunteers to pull this off. Come on in starting the Sunday, May 21 through Thursday, May 25 to help with the prep work. We especially need volunteers during the sale on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27.
3. Donate Items
Drop off
Begins Sunday, May 21 after the 2nd Service (12:30pm) at our Sugar Grove location. We will be accepting donations through Wednesday, May 24 (10am - 8pm).
Pick Up
Furniture pick-ups are from May 21-24 and can be scheduled by calling the church office, 630-466-7198. Please note, we will not add on smaller items to a pick up. We only accept furniture in the truck. Drivers reserve the right to refuse items upon pick up if they do not deem them appropriate for resale. We also have limited drivers and pick ups will be scheduled as close to your requested time as possible. Please be patient and flexible as we work everyone into the pickup route.

Tube TVs
Smelly or Broken Items
Car Seats older than 10 years
All items donated to the sale that are not sold, are passed on to the Pregnancy Information Center, the Wayside Cross Hope Chest, and other great organizations for the giving to get passed on.
